How did you celebrate your new year?
Who's at The Curve Street Partayyyyyy???
Haa... how times have changed. I'm not looking for the best clubs to hit or crawling my arse up any Highland (namely Genting / Cameron) or drunk outta my wits in a hotel room with a KLCC view or bbq-ing up a storm. Neither was I just plain exasperated I don't have a proper countdown plan. Guy and I were anticipating heavy traffic leading into Mutiara Damansara so we decided to have simple dinner at home. We had fried rice with a side dish of fried duck. It was only 9pm when in a whim Guy decided he HAD to go to IKEA that very moment to get bulbs for our kitchen and stairway lights. Our bulbs burnt out 2 weeks ago and we had been meaning to get them changed but just didn't have the time. I was feeling a lil lazy but he was adamant he did not want to usher in the new year in a dim house. So we trudged over to IKEA, got our energy-saving LED bulbs and some complimentary light saber-like cheer tools courtesy if The Curve. Free stuff RAWKS!
Do we look like we came grom a galaxy far far away? Not me I suppose.. I look like I just walked out of an Old Master Q comic strip!
And then, just as Cinderella's carriage turned into a pumpkin...
"You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine
Just own the night like the 4th of July..."
'Cause baby, you're a firework! Come on, show 'em what you're worth..
Make 'em go, oh, oh, oh!
As you shoot across the sky sky sky...!
